Facial Rejuvenation
Facial rejuvenation acupuncture, sometimes called cosmetic acupuncture, is a natural, non-surgical approach designed to support the appearance and overall health of the skin. Treatment involves the gentle insertion of fine, sterile acupuncture needles into specific points on the face and body.
The tiny needles create controlled micro-stimulation in the skin and underlying tissues, which may help support local circulation and the body’s natural tissue-repair processes. Facial acupuncture is commonly used to help improve the overall appearance and tone of the skin and may help soften the appearance of fine lines while promoting a more refreshed and revitalized look.
Results vary from person to person and are generally gradual rather than immediate. Some patients may notice subtle changes after several treatments, while a series of sessions is typically recommended for more noticeable and lasting results.
At Acupuncture Herbal Wellness Center, we generally recommend an initial series of approximately 10 treatments, usually scheduled once or twice per week, depending on the individual’s goals, skin condition, age, and response to treatment. After completing the initial series, maintenance treatments may be scheduled approximately every four to eight weeks to help support and maintain results.
Because facial rejuvenation acupuncture works by supporting the body’s natural processes, results vary, and it should not be considered a replacement for medical or surgical cosmetic procedures.
